An AI that might change everything—or nothing at all.
Assistant is an original English language play for the age of generative AI, written by Olivia Fischer in collaboration with ChatGPT. It explores the impact of technology on our creative, professional, and social lives. Neither utopian promise nor dystopian hellscape, it follows Joan, El, and Sasha as their world shifts to one in which plays, articles, even love letters can be generated at the click of a button.
Starring Olivia Fischer, Dœlma Goldhorn, and Luana Fitzgerald
Directed by Désirée Wenger
Intimacy direction by Ximena Sanchez
Original music by Andrin Albrecht

about.
We are an independent multilingual theater production company based in Zurich, Switzerland, founded in 2023. Our focus is on collaboration and exploration, particularly with regards to theater and film productions which are ecologically as well as humanly sustainable. Our projects work across and with languages, consisting of classics, and mash-ups of classics, as well as original plays. For this, our team combines a vast variety of linguistic and artistic backgrounds: collectively, we speak English, German, Swiss German, Italian, French, Spanish and Korean; we have participated in film, theater, music, and creative writing projects across four continents, and are excited to blend the local and the international, the time-honed and the provocative, in works that are both accessible to a wide public and unlike anything the Swiss theater scene has seen so far.
